Who we are.

In the heart of Chicago's Edgewater district you'll find The Lost Hours, a cozy coffee nook and communal haven. Our mission is simple, to provide a warm escape for locals where you can unwind, savor a cup of coffee and make genuine connections. It all began when Mackenzie and I made the choice to reinvigorate a beloved local establishment that had closed its doors due to the pandemic. At present, we're on a mission to reignite the once-thriving energy of this small corner of our neighborhood. Our strategy involves a diverse range of experiences that'll keep you replenishing your cup until you're happily lost in the timeless bliss of the here and now.

At The Lost Hours, our dedication to quality is unwavering. We source our coffee beans from Happy Monday Roasters, loose leaf tea from Eli Tea Bar and feature mouthwatering pastries from Phlour, Sweet Rabbit Bakery, Beacon Donuts and Lefty’s Righteous Bagels. We want to be a local business that’s all about supporting local businesses, in order to further enrich our vibrant community. Come, and let's celebrate time well spent, great company, exceptional coffee and all with true and utter abandon.
